HACCP


Infocus Food Safety is experienced in developing HACCP Plans that will not only meet your compliance needs but will also achieve an internationally recognised standard in food safety. HACCP Certification communicates to all your stakeholders that you take food safety seriously, and provides further peace of mind that food safety and quality risks are being managed effectively. We have successfully achieved certification for our hospital, hotel and catering group clients.

Our HACCP Plans include:

  • Flowcharts of food process steps, including inputs such as packaging and water
  • Detailed and systematic hazard analysis reflecting your process steps
  • Risk assessment to determine the Critical Control Points specifically present at your site
  • Written monitoring procedures to control any identified hazards
  • Written support program / pre-requisite programs from maintenance to staff hygiene
  • Corrective actions
  • Verification procedures including internal audits, food sampling and surface swab tests
  • Easy to use records and logsheets

Ongoing Support & Services

We like to support our clients in implementing a successful HACCP system, even after the initial certification criteria have been met. This includes:

  • Ongoing compliance coaching for management and key staff
  • Support in understanding laboratory reports for food sample or surface swab results
  • Support for corrective actions, complaints or incident management
  • Assistance with internal audits or mock recall processes
  • HACCP Team meeting support
  • Annual management reviews and version control
  • Support during certification and renewal audits
  • Assistance in locating appropriate legal advice, labelling advice, food safety auditors and microbiological testing laboratories

Our services are fully independent, and no commission is ever received or accepted for referrals to our network of consultants, services or product providers. Hotels

Infocus Food Safety conducts annual Food Safety Program reviews to ensure our clients’ programs remain current, meet any organisational or legislative changes and reflect industry best practice. It is a legislative requirement in every state and territory for Food Safety Programs to be regularly reviewed.

Catering

  • An onsite visit

  • A complete review, revision and reprinting of the Food Safety Program
  • Electronic version of the updated records / log sheets
  • Document Version Control and updating of the Revisions Record
